Infrastructure relevant for DIGIRAS includes facilities for the study of fish pathology, microscopy rooms with stereomicroscopes, inverted microscope, digital photographing equipment, image analysis system, equipment for production and treatment of histology sections and microbiological analysis. In addition, the laboratory is equipped with PCR thermal cyclers, real-time qPCR instruments and electrophoresis and documentation system.
The wet lab facilities (100 m2) includes a 12-tank (100 L) RAS for rearing or challenge tests with marine fish larvae and the production of live food chain including microalgae, rotifers and Artemia.
